Meet the team


Brian Thomas

Program director

Brian is a graduate of Rowan University with a bachelors degree in Psychology as well as a graduate of the University of Tennessee, earning his masters degree in sport psychology.  He ran track throughout high school and in to college.  Some of Brian’s personal bests include running 10.6s in the 100m dash, 21.9s in the 200m dash, 48.6s in the 400m, and jumping 22’6″ in the long jump.

In addition to being the Parisi Speed School Director, Brian is also a Certified Level II Performance Coach, CHHRC Parisi & Personal Trainer, Speed/Agility Expert, Queenax & CPR Certified, and holds a Masters Degree in Sports Psychology.

Brian teaches our linear speed and change of direction classes, while also working with many individual clients in various sports such as track, football, soccer, lacrosse, softball, and field hockey.  He is going to challenge you mentally as much as he will physically.  He wants to see you perform at your best, both here at Parisi and when he comes to your games!

Blair Pitone

Assistant Program Director

Blair competed in cross country and track at both the Division I and Division III levels, giving her a unique perspective on all sides of training development. Some of her personal records include 18:51 in the 5k and 5:17 in the mile. Blair has participated in ten different sports, as well as, recently completed a 70.3 Iron Man.She originally majored in Exercise Science at  Kennesaw State University in Georgia, to pursue a career in Physical Therapy. She ultimately decided that she wanted to become a coach because of  her passion for  helping others reach and exceed their athletic  goals. She then graduated from Widener University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a minor in English. Blair is the Assistant Program Director here at  Parisi. She is CPR/AED Certified and is currently studying to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

In addition to being the Parisi Speed School Ass’t Director, Blair is also a Parisi Performance Coach, is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), DI and DIII XC/Track & Field, and CPR & AED Certified.

Blair teaches a variety of our group classes, while also working with many individual clients in various sports.  She is passionate about helping athletes to not only just accomplish their goals, but to exceed all of them too!

Nate Ingram

Parisi Performance Coach

Nate earned a varsity letter in football, basketball and baseball at Winslow Township High School.  He continued with football into college as a Junior College All-American.  He was a Top 3 Ranked TE in the nation 2009 and 2010, finishing his collegiate career at Morgan State University.  Earned Pre-season All-MEAC and CFPA honorable mention player of the week.  Nate grated from Morgan State University with a degree in sociology which aids him in his coaching.

Nate is a Parisi Performance Coach, Certified Vertimax Coach, and Baseball Specialist.

Nate’s goal is to pay forward as much of the knowledge that was passed down to him.  He has a passion for the various sports hi played and wants to share those experience with young athletes.  He understands the value coaching can provide to athletes and will push both the athlete and the parent to be at their best!

Joel Roberts - Parisi Speed School Coach

Joel Roberts is a devoted student, author, loving son and dedicated entrepreneur whose life was drastically changed following an accident that left him with a permanent brain injury. This accident took place going into his junior year of high school. Following his physical rehabilitation, Joel set out to still make it to college and play basketball. He was able to make it to Seton Hall university practice team where they helped him transfer to Pine Manor College where he made their division 3 team, but left shortly after to begin learning about training kids and athletes after injury and setting up his nonprofit foundation for traumatic brain injury.

Joel is a Parisi Performance Coach, ISSA certified Personal Trainer, and Strength & Conditioning Specialist.

Joel likes to train young athletes and inspire them that nothing is too hard and to motivate them to know that long as they set their minds to it they can accomplish whatever they want in life.

Scooter Selby - Parisi Speed School Coach

Scooter attended St George’s high school where he competed in football & track & field. In 2015 he won Gatorade player of the year for football, and later that spring became an all American in the 100m dash & 4×1 relay. He then went on to play D1 college football at Delaware State University where he was a 3x starter and a 2x all conference WR. He graduated from Delaware state university in 2019 and would began his fitness training journey.  

Scooter is a Parisi Performance Coach, ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, Speed & Agility Specialist, Certified Nutritionist, and is CPR & AED Certified.

Scooter’s goal is to enhance speed and agility, improve strength and conditioning, and implement sport-specific drills. Focusing on these objectives Scooter will aim to optimize athletic performance, enhance overall fitness levels, and support athletes in achieving their full potential.

Jane Wiley - Assistant Parisi Speed School Coach

Jade Wiley

Jade is a high school senior at Sterling High school. There she spent 4 years as a member of the varsity soccer team and was named captain of the team. In addition, she is a member of the Scholar Athletes Leadership Academy in Pitman, NJ for the Class of 2024. Prior to joining the staff, she trained as a Parisi athlete under the guidance of the assistant program director, Blair Pitone, for about a year. Jade is now prepared to continue her academic and athletic career at East Stroudsburg University in the fall of 2024.

Jade assists in the strength, speed, and agility jump start and total performance group classes.
