Family & Youth Programs at CHHRC

At Cherry Hill Health and Racquet Club, we feel strongly that fitness is a habit most easily formed at a young age, and that families can support each other staying fit. Not only do we educate children on the benefits and rewards of a physically active lifestyle, we show them just how fun such a lifestyle can be!

Our youth programs start as early as the age of 2, focusing on fun, creativity, imagination, and movement. On the other end of the spectrum, teens up to 18 can challenge themselves with competitive sports and find the balance between fun and focusing on performance that works for them.

There are programs for children of all ages and skill levels. These include Fit Kids in the FunZone, youth basketball, gymnastics, 10 & Under Tennis, competitive tennis leagues, sports camps, Kids’ Yoga, and more.

For students burning to excel in their sport, we host the Parisi Speed School to boost your child’s strength and agility. We strive to unlock budding athletes’ full potential!

Gymnastics

Boost your children’s self-confidence and improve their coordination while giving them a healthy dose of fun! Each class starts with an exhilarating warm-up to motivating music and then focuses on basic floor exercises, tumbling, the beam, and vault and bar skills. At the end of the session your child will perform what he or she has learned.

Note: Wear comfy clothes, preferably a leotard for girls and sweatpants or gym shorts for boys; hair up; and no jewelry (post earrings are OK).

Flag Football for Kids

This program will concentrate on developing the core fundamentals needed for the game of flag football. Kids will learn flag football basic skills, improve on skills, and develop sportsmanship and teamwork with an emphasis on fun. Ages 7-9.



Youth Basketball

Basketball offers many mental and physical benefits for kids! It improves coordination, develops concentration, teaches teamwork and is great for cardiovascular fitness.
